I just checked the Subaru Canada webpage and it does show the 2009 SpecB listed. They're pretty rare cars. Most people I see driving around are usually in NA models. Once in a while I'll see one with a hood scoop and I know its packing a turbo.
Look into evos 25k will you get you an 06 with decent miles. 06 is my favorite year of the evo. Active control center differential lsd's hids better taillights front bumper thats not out of place. Do not get an mr. The mr has a very weak 6 speed. The gsr rs ssl etc etc have the stronger 5 speed transmission.
I would avoid any VW like the plague. I had one and got rid of it because of all the ECU and electrical problems I was having. CEL's the dealer could not get rid of after numerous reflashes, random alternator problems The current generation is a bigger POS that the previos gen. I was heavily into the whole watercooled scene and loved VW's. My TBSS is the first daily driver that isn't a VW. I know about 10 people that have gotten rid of thier GTi's after only 2 years of ownership. Most of them because of huge engine problems. 3 have had excessive oil consumption like a quart and a half per tank. 4 had head gasket failures. The other 3 had trans. failures both DSG and man trans. failures. Of the choices I would go with the MS3 or WRX.
