Cant Wait for Spring Rant

i did so many ONR washes on customers cars in the cold this winter, im almost just about sick of ONR. especially since i have a nice new pressure washer, foam lance, products, and a raceglaze washmitt im dying to try. hopefully i'll get a day this week where i can do a traditional wash comfortably.

Couldn't agree more it warmed up into the high 40s here in mass today, But now everything is melting and theres always roadspay, so its no better than storm driving conditions, I will take some of the sun and warmth.

 

yeah same here. it go up to about 55 today, so theres like 3 feet of snow melting and everywhere you drive your car is constantly getting sprayed. its going up to about 65 tomorrow so i'm taking the day to finally clean the car. gonna bust out the new pressure washer, try out my new raceglaze wash mitt and snow foam. funfunfun!

 

Same same. It was still worth it or me. So much salt, sand and brine on my car.

 

Im feeling you here.....longest winter i can remember in a long time. Seems like every weekend we get snow, then it rains....then next weekend we get more snow.

Do you use the same procedure in the winter as in summer in respect to the ONR?

 

this winter what i did was pre rinse cars with a powerwasher first due to all the heavy road salt and brine, then bring them inside and ONR wash.

 

Would it make sense to at least stop by the "do it yourself" carwash and just blast off some of the crap with a pressure washer?

if you dont have your own pressure washer, it wouldnt be too bad. reason i wouldnt do it if i had the choice is because those places reclaim and reuse their water, so its highly doubtful that the water coming out of their pressure washer is clean.
