Canada imposing usage based billing for internet

    yeah, they've been doing it over at the east coast but its now an OFFICIAL ruling that also applies to the smaller internet providers who lease lines.

    for example, techsavy offers unlimited, they didnt need to be billed for the usage their customer uses on the bell network
    the ruling makes all smaller isps like techsavy billed for the usage and also in turn there wont be any more "unlimited" so there will be less competition as smaller isps wont be able to compete. West coast Shaw and Telus never billed for overusage but now they will. Your ISP probably go out of business because now their costs increase, etc etc.

    Ah, I see. I doubt they will go out of business, as out east Bell uses phone lines and Videotron uses and owns Cable internet. So basically, nothing changes for me? :p All good! thanks man! :)
