Maybe Phil will pick up other colors to complete his line. I have the 4-in white cyclo pads and they are much softer than the red pads (reticulated and euro). It seems obvious that Lake Country uses the euro foams but markets them as the hydro pads (cyan = blue, tangerine=orange) although from all the posts they seem to be a lot of trouble (need to be cleaned more often, do not dry as well and will fail if used wet), etc. for the supposedly faster correction and better finish.
It would be nice to see phil round out the lineup. Though as I said before I don't see many people 'finish' with anything softer than a blue pad most the time. It's soft enough. Of course we detailers like to go to excess at times.
Well I got lucky that there was some confusion with my original order and it got canceled. I got more blue ones. I sent an email to ADS and they agreed that their descriptions are incorrect and they will update the website this weekend. Great customer service from ADS. I was called numerous times by the owner Rick and we exchanged numerous emails.
I haven't used the HydroTech pads, but I was assuming they were different from the typical "Euro Foam". I've used LC Orange pads before and unless they just gave them a fancy name for marketing reasons I don't think the Tangerine HydroTech is anything like their Orange CCS? But like I said, I haven't used a HydroTech pad yet.
