Ok, for those that are not aviation nerds, here's some info on the 787: -First commercial plane made out of composite materials rather that the aluminum that we are all used to see -New technology that makes this plane more fuel efficient, meaning that it will leave less emissions and less contamination. -New technology involving turbulence detection to avoid the "bumpy" flights -Bigger windows to get closer to the flying experience. more info here
I cant wait to fly on one and the a380...wont happen for a while as i do not fly too many long haul lights at all but hope to be able to sometime.
That is a great vid, cant wait for the 787 ones to come out. The wing test one is pretty cool as well, can find it on google or on there web page. I think ZA002 (second one built) will be going out next week if everything goes ok.
