Man thats crazy!!!!! I would like to have a set of those wheels =) I wonder how they'd look on a moostang!
If you didn't know the story, the ship COURAGE tipped in the port of Jersey City causing major damage to the BMWs. Apparantly, some of the had German tourist plates on them from people who did the European Delivery program. Needless to say, I hope they caned the SHITE out of them as they'll never see 'em again...
oooh that's paintfull but heck I'd purchase them exactly like that and get Gerry to fix them up like new for me...ofcourse I'd purchase it next to nothing hahahahahaha. Man that's a big loss though and a very expensive lost, to repair all those vehicles is a pain and not to mention expensive, I've seen how much Gerry charges to fix some of these BMW's and the parts take for ever to get. Poor BMW's, quick cover it up don't let FMINUS see this he might pass out lol teasing.
That is how some of them become garage queens quickly. Too costly to fix, to hard to take the loss and sell.
I always did wonder why they told her that, on the UK websites people are posting pics of their M3s in lots of different colors. Frankly, have not seen a single Alpine White yet!
I just called my broker (I wanted to make sure he didnt take advantages of Jess) and he confirmed w me that since Jess wanted the VERY FIRST M3 he could get his hands on, AW would be the only one. I verified this w my BMW rep at Nick Alexander, so all is good.
I agree they look good but I think and this is just me, white is hard to maintain....I used to think black colour vehicles were hard to maintain but white is just as bad, nice thing is that white hides imperfections but detailing them is a pain, can't see the imprefections well it's hard to see th imperfections, you know they are there but just can't see them...but that's just me :2cents:
My neighbor is doing his A4 RIGHT NOW as we speak and it's white. I will ask him to post up when it's done. I gave him my PC and the SIP and 85RD bottle. He is LOVING The amount of correction.
