haha thanks, I mean desperate times call for desperate measures. right I thought it might bring a few laughs, neighbors were like what the hell? But I knew you guys might get a kick out of it.
Chas, you having fun shoveling all this snow. I am here at my parents shoveling them out. I have been out three times. I started at 10 pm last night, another swipe at 4am and then this last one at noon. It was great watching my parents neighbors trying to shovel over 30 inches of snow at once while I am out there pushing 3-4 and was done in no time the last time out. A lot of them quit because the snow got so heavy.
Yeah I'm like you Dana, I did one last night at 10, then at 1:30 am, another at 10 am, and just finished a 2 hour sweep. I don't see how people don't do shoveling in rounds unless they don't have the physical ability. And yeah this snow is unbelievably heavy, its such a wet snow. Have you been able to drive at all or did you spend the night over there?
I got here yesterday around 3. I will stay till their road is clear which is a side road so it will be last. I figure and hope they will plow tomorrow later in the day. When I shovel, I shovel about 10 fett into the street, then the plow comes, then I just make a path through that barrier and they will be good to go. It's funny, I am a one man show doing this, my parents neighbors are younger and they can barely get part of their walk done before giving up and going inside. I just laugh at their poor work ethic-lol.

We got hit with about 4 inches of snow last night. More snow supposed to start up tonight and go through Tuesday. This weather has been killing the detailing business here lately! I'm so ready for Spring to get here!
Bring that snow to Michigan. I am on the lake shore and we usually get hit hard. We've only had a couple "storms" and one bad one so far.
Hey Chas, so what RPM where you using there? Maybe add a spriz of GI-EVP Prime to help extend the work time and keep the temps low. HA...I wonder what people would think if they saw you doing that probably think you already got cabin fever.
Over 24" here. It has been a BAD year in the NE. We have had 2 record snowfalls here this year. I am SICK if @#$%ing snow.
I agree, I told mom and dad next year they will have a snow blower in their shed and maybe my four wheeler with a snow plow on it. My parents have way too much to shovel.
Kinda depends on what you're driving. Those mommy-wagons in the ditch and medians didn't look like they were having much fun. :giggle: I drive around unplowed back roads occasionally in a 4x4 with some tow straps looking for folks that aren't buried too badly. Yank 'em out good-Samaritan style and ask for nothing. Most folks flip me a 10 or 20 anyway. Beats waiting for a tow truck when they're backed up for hours. As an aside, whenever someone on a Forum mentions how much snow they got I look up in the corner of the post to see where they're located. Lots of folks with no location in their profile. Unless you're in the Witness Protection Program and don't want to be found I can't think of any reason not to list a location. TL <-- in the NE Ohio snow belt but got off easy this time
In Bucharest is snowing since yesterday and it will snow until Monday evening. They will close the important roads tonight to clean the snow from the roads. Also the second autobahn of Romania is closed because of snow. Apocalypse is coming )
Last year we had 24" of snow in our yard from Dec24th until mid-April. This year, nothing. In fact, we were out in shorts yesterday.
