Another brand that is seldom discussed on this forum. Not really looking to buy any myself, just curious about the stuff. All I know is that in some way it is connected to menzerna, correct? Anyone tried any of their polishes/wax/sealant?
the only stuff connected to Menzerna is the polishes....the rest is not..FMG is not even a Menzerna product..its just licensed to use the name...CMA has some type of deal with Menz USA... AL
I've only tried their shampoo and wasn't impressed at all. reminded me of rebottled Eagle One shampoo...
Their Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish (lets call it SRC FP for short) is a top notch product. Many respectable detailers have said it is rebottled 106FF in a smaller size. It works very well for me with a DA machine. Cuts well, finishes out perfectly. Their sealant is also nice, lasts about 3-4 months IME, easy to apply and remove. Very slick, looks are good.
Last yr some friends and i tested the Blackfire wax against P21s and CG XXX and all of us agreed the XXX was better in shine and slickness! Durability is only about 2-3 weeks in this Florida weather. Hope this helps, and also i heard that their Clear Finishing Polish is about the same as 106FF but i had not tested it yet............
I've got a jar of the BF Midnight Sun. Looks okay. Used it over SIP and PO85 RD. Did half the car in Souvie and half in M.S. It just didnt seem to have the depth of Souvie. Application was as nice. It just wasnt there for me. I like Lusso better than the M.S. Its a good wax for sure but I was kinda dissappointed with it.
Blackfire Gloss enhancing polish and wet diamond are sensational. That combo will give six months of protection and terrific gloss
I'm a really big fan of their SRC finishing polish. Gives me the same finish as PO85RD and 106FF. Although when I buy more I will probably just buy the Menzerna bottled stuff.
Dan, thats a great car Just get those exterior trim pieces black like the rest of the car with some Glare Knockout, Micro Finish and Pro Polish by machine or hand Won't fade again
