You're very welcome Gemini, but seeing as you're acting like a baby, then I'll spoon feed you the EXACT dilutions - and if you promise not to spew, I'll burp you after!
Oh, and I never ramble, I'm just thorough - big difference.

Anyway, to help you digest things better here's the deal:
3-5% for pre-wash treatment (can be 2% if you want, but 3-5% tends to work best, with 3 for less grime, and 5% for a fair bit of grime) if you want to be LSP-safe. If you want to strip the LSP, then 10% will generally see to that.
If you want to remove bugs' remains, and still keep the LSP on the paintwork, then the same 3-5% strength solution will sort that out.
If you have wheels needing brake dust and heavy grime build-up removed, then 5-10% works - if 5% doesn't do enough removal without a lot of agitation, then switch to a bottle with 10% solution in it.
If you need to degrease/clean an engine bay, then depending on the sheer volume of crap to be removed, you can opt for anything between 10% and 20%.

In case you're wondering why I've repeated myself, well it should be rather self explanatory - there is no EXACT dilution that works for everyone, since each situation called for, will be different.
Then there's the matter of having hot water to rinse with - this will make the chemicals work at their Cloud Point (most effective), so you may find from a bit of trial and error, if the dilution you've used can be dropped back without performance being affected.
So, in a roundabout manner, I've enlightened you to the fallacy of asking for exact dilutions, and to use your best judgement based on the information that has been presented.

If you missed the wry sense of humour with my Yoda-speak reply, then I'm sorry - but to get your knickers in a twist over 911Fanatic not replying directly to you, choosing to endorse my reply instead, with the Thanks button, is very childish and immature.

We're all here to have a bit of craic (Gaelic for fun), and help others new to detailing or with products they're unfamiliar - so keep that in mind, and don't lose your sense of humour whilst on the boards.
That way no-one's nose gets put out of joint over something innocuous or light-hearted banter.

The topper is designed for Auto-balm, but not exclusively - it'll sit on any base layer.
Unlike 'balm, but whilst like it (in the sense it's a paste again - with a liquid version to follow once they're happy the two formulations perform as identically as possible) you can do 1/3-1/2 a car before needing to return to the starting point, and buff off.
I suggested they do the liquid version, as people wouldn't want to use a paste-based product twice, but that was before BH informed me of the longer setting-up time the topper has. But even so, they are doing a liquid version for those who prefer to spray, but I've no idea as an when that'll be ready - be thankful the topper's finally reached "1st and goal"!

Nope, that's about the height of it.
Don't get too hung up about it, since by the time 3-4 months have passed, a lot of cars need a claying or tar removed from various parts of the paintwork - so AB's legendary status is more for the Classic market's users, whose classic motor is only out every so often.
On a car parked outside everyday, in typical 4 seasons climate, you'll be lucky to see 4 months from the one time it was put on (single or double layer).

Yee who cast the first stone....Oh never mind a baby it is. Oh BTW speaking of someones level of intelligence or ability to comprehend your ramblings is also childish and immature. Again I asked him a question and not you yet you felt the need to respond with an insult. I understand there is no exact ration that works for everything or everyone but I rather wanted to know what ratios had worked best for him. I digress however seeing as I am beating my head upon a wall here. I will wait to discover my own ratios I if I should choose to purchase in the future. Thanks for playing though. :D

    Wow never stops does it.

PJS and Gemini13 please move on or else I'll be dealing with both of you!

I don't care who started it (boy does that ever sound childish doesn't it) but I assure you I'll finish it if need be!

So either move on or face the consequences, only warning I'll give both of you.

:spank: Looks degrading to me. I'd do what he says.

Simply amazing. I ask someone a simple question and get a shitty response from someone else and because of that I'm now "getting dealt with" and "warned". LOL I thought the concept of this forum and others like it was to ask questions and get answers. Wow, just wow.

You fail to see the whole point of a forum then, you ask a question on a open forum and because your in a forum you'll receive an answer, it's what people do to try to help others, you may not like the answer or who answered your question but it's an answer...if you want to ask a question to one specific member then you should use the PM feature! The concept is really simple. I really don't see what the fuss is all about but since you both can't seem to handle your self accordingly I had to step in and warn both of you.

Oh really, I fail to see the whole point of a forum then??!!! LOL

Responding with an insult about a persons ability to comprehend words typed over the internet does not quantify to me as any type of an answer.

The most amazing part of this is that had 911fanatic responded to the question I asked HIM instead of PJS's shitty response we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Regardless, I digress because I am very ignorant to the concept of an OPEN FORUM on the internet. I am done with this however. Amazing one question (legit question at that) led to this.

That's all I was asking, simply move on. I truly hope it is done and over with.

Hmmm.....Nica, as much as I appreciate your efforts to keep your house in order, there's times (like these) when your desire to maintain said order, only exacerbates the situation.
As you can plainly see, my last comment was received in the manner intended, and any misunderstanding Gemini had with my earlier replies had been sorted.
Therefore, there was no real need for you to wade in, and stir up things, as you can see how easily excitable Gemini is.

Now, in the interests of the forum, I'm happy for you to remove my posts that don't contribute to the thread - #'s 10, 21, and 26. Oh, and this one too.
Obviously some of Gemini's and 911's are going to look odd in the absence of mine, so they'd need to go too, but at least that way you'll have a harmonious thread, with nothing extraneous, detracting from it.

Management Nica, calls for knowing when to be hands on, and when to be hands off - too much stress isn't good for a body, so being full-on all the time, is not conducive to good health.

A forum will always have the odd issue between members for a variety of reasons, not excluding tiredness-induced SOH failure, simple misunderstandings, and reading too much into what was written, rather than taken at face value.
Knowing which ones need your intervention, and which ones have died off naturally, is the key to an easier and less stressful time for yourself.

eventually forums will become real world and members will use video cameras and webcams or some future recording device to actually say what they currently type up as text
Once it does, this problem should be extinct but possibly new ones will begin (we shall see)

Please close this thread Carlos as we all have better things to do.

I actually prefer to sit back and watch members work out their own differences. We are all capable of working out our differences, thing is we all have our own unique ways of doing that.

The reason I got involved is not because I choose to get involved, I received some complains about this thread, so when things get escaladed to me I deal with them as I see fit.

Regrettably there is lots in the background that takes place and members don't see it and I'd like to keep it that way but when I do get involved it usually means it has been brought to my attention and now I'm face to deal with things. So it's not that I don't know when to let members work their 'issues' out it's that when things get escaladed to me I have to get involved and put an end to the issues.

As far as closing this thread, I still don't think what happened was a big deal yes it has derailed the conversations but if the original author requests this thread to be closed I will do so, other wise I'll leave it open and hope that members will simply move on and get back on topic.

Then as above, tidy up the thread by removing the posts suggested, that way everyone's happy, and as an older thread revived in the future, it'll read better without the distractions.
    Best thing really.

Agreed. We can chalk this up as a misunderstanding. PJS I will use your advice if/when I order Sufex HD as well as the rest of your advice on BH products as you seem very knowledgeable on them.
