Biggest peeve when people are around your car

People who think it's okay to cross their legs in the front seat. Excuse me, but your foot doesn't need to be ridin' on my dashboard. Can you not sit correctly for the short time it will take us to get somewhere???

 

My biggest pet peeve: Eating in the car. You do not need to open up the drive thru bag and start eating french fries, spilling the salt and whatever else all over my floor. And THEN, to top it off, they brush off their fingers on their pant leg while sitting in the seat still. Argh! You know why my car smells like new? Because there is no rotting food in the carpet.

Trust me, it makes a big difference.

 

I suppose my all time worst would be if you and a someone had been out drinking and they vomit in your car :scared:

Silent farts. No one claims it and they dont pipe up to roll the windows down, and then even if you do roll them down, its in the fabric and it festers. That and when people just generally leave trash. Or when you are parked next to a curb and you ask them to open the door slowly and they fling it open, I am just waiting for a curb to dominate the bottom half of my passenger side doors.

 

as im driving home in my new 2006 f350 lariet truck with leather. ipicked upone of my friends to give him a ride in my new truck .. and he lets a huge fart rip as soon as he gets in .. killing the nice new leather smell!!! i was so pissed and all he was doing is laughing ..

 

I have a friend who leans on my car a lot if we're chillen somewhere. I always tell him not to but he insists he's not scratching with his jeans or anything because he's not sliding around.

He's a good friend but doesn't have respect for my car's paint.

 

when ever i run errands in my non-daily driver car ill park as far as i can away from the

store with 200 empty parking spaces around me, idiots have to come park right next to me

( i try to avoid any door ding situations as much as possible)

 

You need that. Take it out and then insist he GTFO your car. Just saying . :afro:

 

I punch my friends if they put shit on my car or lean on it. My one friend has a gay carabiner with his keys on his belt loop. I always make sure I take his keys off him before we get in my car...he always says I'm too picky but I'm just protecting my damn leather!

 

This too. I was driving one of my friends home, she went to put her leg on the dash, glanced at me and saw my expression, and put it back down again.

 

Things I don't mind a WHOLE lot are things easily cleaned up, like finger prints on glass. But I can't stand it when people draw in the dirt on my car. They say it doesn't really scratch it and I'm too picky. Then I whip out my QD and a MF (which I keep in my car at all times), and show them what they just did. Also, I deliver pizza and none of us drivers use the "car toppers" except one. He knows how picky I am about scratching my car, and at the end of every shift before he leaves, he sticks it on my trunk, leaving four round scratch marks...... My paint is already covered in paint chips, swirl marks, and scratches from the previous owners (and it is 17 years old...), but I try to take care of what I have left

Yeah, its time to get a new one! But im sure it still looks great.

 

I'm looking at getting a 2nd gen MR2 and get some fresh paint on The del Slo looks ok, just don't look at the front bumper...

Slamming doors is the worst of all. Our BMW X5's doors are heavy, but the window regulators in them are weak! Every time somebody slams the heavy door closed, I shudder as I hear the window rattle a little. One day a window will just drop down when the door gets slammed.

when people lean on your car,and eating in the car,and people asking you to "pop the hood"and as soon as i try to get there to lift it up these wankas start lifting up the hood and it tilts and damn near creases my hood and bust my blister off my hood!wankas!:loud::duh:

Definetly makes a difference. Everybody knows that wont fly in my Sky In fact I'm a little over the top. I will barely ever even pick up drive through food in my Sky unless the top is down. Don't want any of those errant food fumes making friends with my interior!

 

things anoy me.

bird shit, i come to it every morning, looking to get those wire spikes to put on wires that go to house over my car.

ppl touching inside glass
leanning on your car in jeans or whatever
slamming doors, slamming trunk(part is my fault for not having proper trunk springs)
just things that ppl do couse its just a car and no respect for it.

 

I got plenty of them ...

1. eating (specially chips)
2. touching glass
3. writing on dirty cars
4. putting crap on top of painted surfaces
5. picking their nose and throwing the crap on the carpet
6. smoking
7. pet hair
8. sand
9. putting greasy hands on interior surfaces (like chicken grease)
10. my daughter's cookies all over the back seat
11. kids slamming doors

And these are the ones that I remember now ... lol.
