you should really try BF wet diamond, and I can guarantee you are gonna love it. Very easy to work with, and when you top it off with Midnight Sun results are stunning. It looks very nice on it's own too...and it's cheaper then JS 109...

Maaaaaaaaaan, I don't get this forum. One minute you're reading how JetSeal has super duper durability and blackfire WD has poor durability in comparison. Next minute, you're reading the opposite of that.

This is why you can do a test of your own, on your hood...strip everything, and lay a layer of JS109 on one side, and layer of BF WD on another...apply and wipe sealants with separate MFs...and DO NOT TOP SEALANTS with carnauba waxes...you will see what lasts longest...
Remember, it's gloss, beading, and ease of cleaning (all three) that indicate that protection is still there...

I had a chance to try using Wet Diamond about 2 weeks ago. As far as application, it was really easy. So little product is needed to apply, and a little bit of water (condensation on the vehicle, dew if you will) as it was getting dark when I was applying even helped spread the product.

I applied WD using my UDM and a 5" red CCS pad. Removal was just as easy. No effort to wipe off the hazed product. I have used applied CG's M-Seal, JS109, and WD was far easier to apply and remove. Just my observation after my initial experience.

unless a customer specifically asks for it, I have really strayed from topping wax with sealant lately...

I am sure this has a lot to do with the vast majority of my work being full correction and I really don;t want to be screwing around with the paint after spending 12 / 18 / 20 / 25 +hours on it

If the lsp du jour doesn't have what it takes to satisfy me on it's own merits I won't use it

Ya, there are really so many variables that nothing is in stone when it comes to perception/appreciation/satisfaction with a product... It also may have to do with what product you were previously using and the condition of that paint that you are applying it to...

Personallythe ONLY thing I liked about JS is how easy it was to apply and remove... Hell I could have done it blindfolded and not misses anything- BUT that is just me... I have also found the BFWD is almost as easy to use... and when I say almost I am really splitting hairs because it is still SUPER user friendly!

so does BFWD need to set up for 24 hrs or can it be topped shortly after, im currently using powerlock with great results.

I normally wait until the following day before topping with a nuba. I have no idea on the recommended wait time.

Ive read '8 hours' for Blackfire WD. If youre using Powerlock and love the results, the only reason to try BFWD or JS109 would be, to try something new. Theyre all very similar sealants...
