You can use 85Rd or another finishing polish after SIP.

I know that SuperBee has had bad experiences with 85rd on Honda paint, but has anyone here had good experiences with it and soft paint?

I have been using 85RD on my singel stage paint on a vw Golf mk II from with great result. And this paint is soooft.

    Hmmm, interesting....

When you say "great results" do you mean really good, or perfect finish?

Very good. Used a meguiars soft buff pad and a rotary.

After playing wth Ultrafina and Micro Polish for a few weeks now, I'm going to have to give the nod to Ultrafina for both results (can't see a difference) and ease of use (way easier).

After getting some more experience with these two polishes, the battle is apparently not done yet...

    My latest Micro Polish results:

Hey Supe, if you were doing a two step job on a car with moderate clear, would you probably reach for you UF over PO85rd since it can do more clean up but still leave a nice finish?

My thought is the first step would be SIP on Lake Co. White or Green or Edge Green or Blue wool to get as much correction as possible. Then use UF on white Edge wool to clean that up with?
