Nineteen-year-old Arielle Smith was indicted by a grand jury Thursday for the baby's September death in the New Orleans suburb of Harvey. Authorities said 5-month-old Andre Jenkins died at the scene from skull fractures and burns suffered in the dryer. Prosecutors said Smith was watching the baby and two older children at her home. She told police the children were being rambunctious and interfering with her television watching. Yes there are some terrible tragedies in this world and some very sick people but I really dont think threads such as this are appropriate, it just makes people sad. I think we should all refrain from such posts and keep everything here on DB nice and up beat, not that we should hide from the real world but we get enough of these stories on the news and in the papers already, unfortunately. No hard feelings.
Stuff like this makes me upset at fools like her. I have 2 little children of my own, and could never understand how someone could think, let alone do, such an atrocious act. She should have the same thing done to her, just in a dryer big enough for her to fit in.
