cquartz is more of a glass silica product of which japan does a good job in producing as they have a lot of products alike from japanese manufacturers
aquartz is more crystal like structure i believe
either way, 2 products are different tho both a coating product, both has ups n downs and different properties, cquartz has been working well on my rims, aquartz didnt work well on my rear windshield

what about using Aquartz over C? or does it have to be completely polished off?

your best bet is to remove everything off before you do any coating.

The test between AQ and CQ will be the durability. Testing, not hype will determine the truth. I put stock in posts like Porta's who have tried both and have had time to see how they hold up. The red AQ will be the better test against CQ, not the black bottle.

If this is the case why is he not on his site saying AQuartz copied his product?, as Richy says durability will be tested in the court of public opinion and I think CQuartz looked fantastic on the finish, but I had some water spot issues with it and it is raining here now and I will see how the AQuartz does in this regard as I applied it on my truck today(AQuartz that is) but if it holds up on durability........it's game over.

As for the website, I wonder what a website made by me in Korean launched in Korea would be judged like.........same things might be said as above regarding it's professional content.

I have used CQuartz on enough vehicles to know the difference in the application ease of use and how the finish looks and feels(slick) which was not the case until "re-load" was applied with CQuartz..

its not a copy as Avi was selling Aquartz before moving onto Cquartz, rionix in korea is the manufacturer of aquartz so yeah no copy just moving onto a dif product and manufacturer all together

I had issues with water spots the last rain...... in fact, yes it did work and sheet the water quite well, but if it was standing it spotted and I had to wipe my hood down with vinegar. It was not alot, just enough to piss me off.

Bob, are you saying Aquartz is slicker then Cquartz minus the reload? I did notice today when I did a application of reload it became much more slick.

That is exactly what I found today, I could have went with Dave's findings(As he is the "J" and all...lol) but I ordered up some from Phil to see for myself......and it was like using a QD and wiping it off sans the streaking, and the finish was "poppin" which takes alot as I keep the truck's finish on point(With a plate on the back that says "JSTWAXD" it better look good, previous LSP was Megs D301 for quickness.

Just curious then, if it is a different company why name the product CQuartz.......which C comes after A in the alphabet, I mean if I came from AQuartz the last thing I would call it was something so close to the name of the company I just left, just like in the movie "Coming to America" where the guy has a burger joint that looks "Just like McDonalds" called "McDowells".....oh that will not confuse anyone.

I'm getting some AQuartz soon, does anyone know if I have to use IRON X, or will a thorough claying be enough?
