Hey all...has anyone here used any 3M pads on a rotary with M105 or menzerna 203? I have a local autobody supply shop that carries the full 3M line in stock and just wondering if I should give any of their pads a whirl.

    Thanks!

I have used all the 3M UK pads one time and they worked just fine but nothing revolutionary.

Solid pads IMHO but I think the rarity of the 3M pads are what make people want them, in reality Lake Country and DetailersDomain pads are still top quality, easy to get and come in all sizes.

    Food for thought

The black waffle 3m pads and the wool 3m pads are very nice. Purple PFW from lake country has a little more cut than the 3m white wool pads. I like the 3m wool because they fit the 3m uk bp perfectly.

thanks guys. actually just went to the store and all they had was the mequiars 8" red pad and the meguiar wool compounding pad which is sort of a red and white mixture of threads.

I use the yellow and blue 3m UK pads and love them. The Blue finishing UK pad is great I think, it glides over the surface, keeps the panel nice and cool and really does preform. Yellow is great as well with something like Menzerna Powerfinish, again keeps the panel cooler than a flat faced pad and has a nice cut and finishing ability to it. I also like the uber line of pads.
