The last thing I want is for them to do a rush job. I'm just a little irritatted because all the review about them is that the always meet the time frame that they said the car would be completed, very high quality workmanship along with great communication. As long as the car comes out perfect in the is all that really matters. Also they didn't want the car till everything was ready so I would not have to pay for a rental for to long since my car is drivable but now it looks like it will be an additional 180 bucks for the rental. I knew I should have added rental to my policy lol haha
I'm not going to nor could I speak for anybody else. I've been painting and doing repairs since '83. Most on race and show bikes, then onto cars. What I would recommend to anyone is to ask to see shop-look at repairs in phase's ,find out what products are used. Blending versus Blending clear( very poor way). Don't ever think the color match is ever perfect. The sprayer must know how to fade( blend ) the base into the surrounding color to achieve the "perfect" match. Matching the peel of the OEM is just as important. Hope all turns out well for you
My hood was repainted and although it blended well, it's cloudy and needs color sanding. I didn't pay for it though, so no real complaints. I've detailed many cars with paint jobs and although my girlfriend needs one, we decided it'd be cheaper and less of a headache to just sell the car in a year and get something newer.
Thats one of my biggest fears is the paint being hazy / cloudy like they stood 5 feet away and misted the paint onto the panel:yikes:
I got the car back today!!! so far I am very happy with the paint quality and theymatched the orange peel and blended the paint 100%. there looks to be some buffer trails but i have not put it under the halogens yet to know for sure but then again I can take car of that pics are crappy and dont really do it justice
