Usually, ear protection, dust mask, and gloves when polishing.
Gotta do what you can to take care of yourself!

I wear these all day, and love them. built in radio

vacuuming, hot water extraction and polishing no music playing at customer's house is professional, and the vacuum doesn't irritate me.

I would add that if you use compressed air to blow out crevices or water off the tires and wheels, you gotta wear hearing protection. I'm not sure if it's just part of my aging too, but I know I got all kinds of physical issues that has made my work more dificult. Loss of Hearing is probably #1 along with nerve damage and carpal tunnel. I only recently started wearing hearing protection, but sometimes forget. I also wear eye glasses and as for dust, I try to avoid using polishes that dust, lol.

Ear protection is an absolute must when using an air hose, especially doing the interior. I'm going to start using a set for polishing too. I have ringing ears.
