I just got an '05 Hyundai Tucson about two weeks ago, and was wondering if any of you Hyundai owners polish the plastic on the bumpers/door bottoms? Also, do you use sealant and/or wax on those sections as well? Also, what products do you use on the roof rack? Thanks in advance, Roger :headbang:
I don't own a Hyundai but I've detailed a Hyundai, LoL. While the Hyundai I detailed (Elantra) didn't really have the plastic you're referring to, I'd just use a trim product on it like Poorboy's World Trim Restorer, Meg's Hyper Dressing, OPP or Black Wow. The same would go for the roof rack as well. I believe Suburbans have similar materials for those areas as well. I detailed a Suburban a while back.
Well, the trim is not black like on the avalanche. i would say its kinda like the outback, painted, just a different color than the sheet metal paint.
What you got a new car and no picture...:waiting: :waiting: No advice till we see pictures :hmph: Hahaha just teasing. I think I know what type of plastic your talking about, what I'm thinking of is basically a plastic like the bumper right? If so I've polished the areas before. Range Rovers have this as well and I've polished it before, just treat it like you would a normal bumper or such...but um..a picture would help oke: oke:
