My pleasure bro.. I honestly get satisfaction from helping my "detail buddies" save money Ha, drunk mooches.. that's funny. I have a "special stash" for people that I can tell wouldn't be able to appreciate the difference between a swisher sweet and a good cigar. Now for the ladies I keep a heavy supply of CAO flavored cigars.. I LOVE seeing a hot women smoking a stogie!! CAO flavored stogies have been a huge hit with the hunnies!!
Being a college sudent and having my own place has lead to a party or two. I like to keep my humidor in my family room so i can check the humity acouple times a day. People come drinking and go hey cigars... and then they walk over start looking and have those puppy dog eyes...i go well why dont we just have one.... what ohh really you are soo cool.. its actully really funny. Maybe it has something to do with the cost of cigars, its a good think i order them all online. Inc. cubans So what kinda sticks are in your special stash? brands like indan tobac... order a bunder for 45 bucks. Here you cant even get 25 primetimes for that cheap. I love how you keep a stash of cao flacored, you sly dog...
well that depends on which one tou are talking abou tlol.... I have 2 and 1 on the way... The first one is a desktop i got from a small mom and pop store in town, the seal on it sucks so its not just storage in the den.. no cigars (lessons learned dont spend 30 bucks localt on a humi) the second is my baby, its a 150stick, two level glass top humi, it was purchased for 200 or so at the local b&m, i like the guy he likes me so i thought I would support him... i really like this one. The seal is good, has a spanish ceader linning. It nice....i love it the third, thats on its way, came form cubancrafters, it was 95 bucks for it plus 75 cigars, a cutter, and a lighter.. hwo coul i go wrong.. its in the mail right now oneplace i have hear has great humi's iss cheaphumidor.com I ordered some sticks fro them but not a humi, however i have heard great things about ther ehumis and the price... ohh and i have an e-mail or two about picking a humi, i dont have time to dig them up now but remind me and i will later
Dang you are good, I have the Indian Tobacs and Tradicion for the newbies with green pallets and for the ladies I have the Bella Vanilla... pretty damn good smokes for flavored!!!
I guees great minds think alike... I might have to get some cheap falvored sticks for the humi.. hm thats a good idea... man this is starting to cost real money. so are indian tobac's bad? just mild? or just inexpensive? I acutlly bought them to try... on club stogie everyone talks about 2bucks a stick being good, i cant even get primtimes for that so i thought why not, if i smoke them for 10 minutes thre cheaper then here (a cohiba would cost more a cigar then a bundle of indian tobac)
here is one of the e-mails cuban crafters sends out Cigar humidors perform a vital function for the cigar aficianado,or even the beginner. Their function is to store your cigars, keeping them at just the right humidity, which should be in therange of 65-75%. Maintaining the right humidity is vital to keeping your cigars in the best possible condition. If the air is too dry, the cigars dry out, and lose flavor. If the air is too moist, mold can spoil them When cigar humidors are doing their job well, the cigars age in away that enhances their flavor, improving your enjoyment. If you really enjoy a top-quality cigar, then choosing one of themany quality cigar humidors available is an important investmentfor you, one that will last you many years. If you think about it, you are potentially investing hundreds of dollars in cigars, wouldn't it be in your best interest to store them correctly? Humidiors come in many styles. You can choose a humidor with trays, high gloss finish, with legs, etc. There are so many to choose from, that you need to know the basics to ensure you are getting a good quality box that will preserve your cigars for years to come. Here are 5 easy steps to choosing the right humidor. 1. Size. There is a really famous nerd type guy, whose name I don't remember, that basically said you will take up as much space as you are given. For example, my wife's purses keep getting larger and larger, and more and more stuff keeps getting shoved inside. I mean really, does she need 42 different kinds of gum? But I digress. You want to start off with a humidor that is at least 50% larger than you think you will need. So if you have say 25 cigars, buy a 40-50 cigar humidor. Why? Because inevitably you will start to store more cigars, so it is better to plan ahead. Start off with one that won't break your budget, but that you won't grow out of in 5 minutes! For a brand new smoker, who is getting started, I suggest a nice 50-100 cigar humidor. Remember, you can put fewer cigars in a larger humidor, but you can't put more in a small one! 2. Seal. A humidor without a good seal is like a Sunday withoutfootball. It just plain sucks. You want to make sure that whenyou close the lid of the humidor that it makes a nice whoosh soundas it closes. I have heard people mention things like the dollarbill test, and other various things. But honestly, it all comesdown to closing the lid. If it slams shut, it is good for nothingmore than storing your remote controls in. If it puffs or whooshes when it closes, you are golden. When purchasing online, and you can't actually see or touch the humidor, it is important to ask the proprietor if their humidors whoosh when they close. I am sure you know where I am going with this. All of the humidors we offer close with a nice whoosh. 3. Liner. Quality cigar humidors have a Spanish Cedar lining. It'schosen because it can handle the humidity required without warping. Anything else inside a humidor is silly. You want the cedar to be kiln dried, which means they literally dry it out to remove all the sap. This prevents a icky mess on all your cigars. Insert whatever Clinton joke you want to here. But seriously, Spanish Cedar is where it is at. The indians used to use it to build boats because it is water friendly. The cedar should also be non-aromatic. This isn't the cedar you put in a gerbil cage or a closet. This is a different cedar. It doesn't smell. 4. Style. Make sure that your choice of humidor complements yourown personal style. There really isn't too much to say here. Ifyou don't like it on the desk or whever you are going to put it, it doesn't really matter how well it works. I mean, if a world famous chef made you spaghetti and colored it blue you probably wouldn't eat it. So why would you want an ugly ass humidor sitting on your desktop? 5. Quality. Ensure that the humidor is good quality. If the lidwarps, or the hinges fail, the seal will be broken. Then, allyou'll have is a nice-looking storage box. Always remember,"Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten." That being said, price doesn't dictate quality at all. I have seen humidors costing thousands of dollars made poorer than the inexpensive boxes I sell. In fact, December 2003, Cigar Afficionado Magazine reviewed 10 or so humidors. Most of them were boxes costing thousands, yes, thousands of dollars. They also reviewed one of mine which sells for $199. My humidor got a B-, and a humidor costing over 5 times more money got a C-. So price isn't the determining factor. Make sure the hinges are good, the joinery it good, and above all, make sure it has a nice warranty or guarantee. We offer a lifetime warranty on our humidors. Unheard of in theindustry. --------------
the second is my baby, its a 150stick, two level glass top humi, it was purchased for 200 or so at the local b&m, i like the guy he likes me so i thought I would support him... i really like this one. ha ha, yeah I think you are right!! You know, the Indian Tobac's aren't all that bad, they aren't dog rockets that's for sure here's the box I bought, I just gave my last one out this past weekend but they had been in my humi aging for two years. Indian Tabac Tomahawk Toro Cigars at Famous Smoke Shop I fill my humi up once every two years or so and then let them age.. these were by far the smokes that changed the most after the last two year aging session Plasencia Reserva Organica Robusto Cigars at Famous Smoke Shop I was intrigued by them because they are certified 100% organic. This smoke REALLY changes flavor about 3 times depending on how far down it has burned... very complex, some areas were VERY EARTHY, almost too much aat first (at least for the 1st smoke of the night) After I let them age THEY WERE DELICIOUS. I have one left that I am saving for my two weeks off from work that I begin next Friday. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST CAO Black, that is if you can find them.. I know when I bought my box two years ago they said it was a limited supply. If I remember correctly they said 5,000 of each size were rolled... THEY WERE PHENOMINAL!!! Now these are BY FAR thee best flavored smoke I have ever tried and all my lady friends also agreed CAO Moontrance Small Cigar (5) Cigars at Famous Smoke Shop They are infused with vanilla and bourbon if I remember correctly.. the thing is the ingredients they used to flavor them are top notch so it's like you are tasting the true flavor and not extract... PLUS the CAO tobaco and wrappers, well you knwo how good they are. Now the Partagas Spanish Rosado is my go to smoke, I love these damn things Partagas Spanish Rosado Familia 5 Pack Cigars at Famous Smoke Shop
Like I said the Tobac's aren't bad.. I give those to people that I think may have a more "advanced pallet" and if I think they may actually finish it FOr the pure newbies I give them these https://www.lilbrown.com/Premium-Grade-Cigars/VIEJA-TRADICION.htm

Nice order!!! I never really set out to age my smokes... I just bought so many that it just happened... NOW like I said I buy once every couple years and I like to smoke some young and see how they change over time... yes, aging is fun since you never know how it will have developed.... Even some medium bodied sticks get better over time... they just mellow out a bit. Now they don't get mild or anything but the flavor is just more balanced.. WOW, man you are going to LOVE the blacks... they are a fine smoke for sure!! NOW my all time favorite smokes are Diamond Crown... Simply a superb stick!!!
