You could try it, However I dont see the point if you are going to use V7, I assume you will use V7 after your regular washing regiments? If so help the longgevity.

I should try that... now you have my intrest peaked.

Yeah, once I had the BL on I was going to continue on with the V7.

Have you guys heard that the V7 was a bonding catalyst for the BL? I thought I read somewhere the BL's durability was enhanced by the V7 because of the way the V7 is absorbed into it. Maybe im mixing my info up.....not sure.

Maybe BL by itself is a glaze but once topped with V7 is a sealant. I'm on my phone or I would check into it.

v7 is a spray sealant itself tho
highly doubt its a bonding catalyst, i dont think we're at that stage yet for LSP to go transformation on us

I was told by paul blacklight is/can be used as a LSP by itself.......

that came up in a conversation about using nuba on it......... it said you could, or use a sealant. Ive mentioned it before that I used Zaino spray seal on it as well.
I want to know what the combo was that they were able to get 7 monthes durability in Thailand and Dubai. How many coats of BL, how many applications of V7, was it used after maintance washes etc. A freind of mine is using BL by itself and layers it up like zaino and it looks really good......... but is not as slick as it can be until a sealant is added.

one thing about those 2 locations are that they're relatively hot. Maybe that has a bearing to BL being LSP-able because of the heat?

I have used V7 in direct sunlight numerous occasions and it does not streak or haze as long as you work in small sections. That said, I haven't seen it add or take away beading/sheeting qualities of underlying LSPs (Cquartz in my case) and tried to apply it as an LSP on a panel of my dad's freshly polished RX400 and it did not last much past 2 weeks even though it is garaged 90% of the time.

Has anyone actually tried using V7 as a standalone LSP yet?

I'm thinking of just blacklight and holding off on v7 and use opti seal
