hey guys, I just ordered my first batch of AIO products that will arrive sometime on monday and was wondering how to use them properly with a rotary and with a pc. I am leaning towards using them with a pc since I know that the goal of the product is not really to do alot of paint correction. can you guys tell me what speeds to use and how much preasure to use on the pc/rotary? can I top this product with swissvax concorso? thanks godoman
PC about speed 4-5, about 15lbs of pressure depending on the exact amount of correction your aiming for (obviously limited by the AIO composure). You should be able to top it with Concorso after it cures.
PC speed 6..anything less and you are wasting your time! what did you end up getting for an AIO. I have used optimum poliseal, megs 151 PRC, Megs 66...out of those, poliseal adds most gloss, 151 cuts more (dont like it), and 66 removes oxidation better
I use speed 3 to spread the polish/compound and then work it on 6. I compress the pad about 1/2 - 1/3 of the way and it seems to work well, I'm still an amateur aswell though so I could be doing it wrong.
phil at detailersdomain told me this is the best product for removing spiderwebbing and oxidation on cars quickly and only getting a 50-70 percent (or so) paint correction while having some filler in it to hide light swirling as well as remove them. suppose to be better then menzerna's one step acrylic jacket (which I want to try badly) because menzerna's aparently stains trim on the car and this can really slow you down. will be using 1Z Einszett Metallic Polish & Wax with a pc and white lc pad or with a flex and green pad. problem is trying to figure out how long to hit each panel on the car with the 1z. godoman
