Just tried AG HD for the first time today on our Explorer and I must say that for $20, it's worth it. The applicator was already damp (not sure how they do that), which made applying the wax quite easy. Just make sure you that you "prime" the applicator and it goes a long way. Applying was decently easy, and so was removal. All in all, liked it so far. Doing a black Tahoe with it tomorrow. I'll see if I can post some pics...
Bought one today myself for $20. They got 6 more left in Manchester,CT. if any of you in this area are interested. Awesome pics Ken.:applause:
I had two in my hands and made it all the way to the register and then remembered I haven't ever finished a single tub of wax... EVER....lol.
For those in the central NJ area - Old Bridge WM is out of stock. Woodbridge WM out of stock. Edison WM has 2 remaining, as of 12/5 1:00 PM.
Was at Walmart in South Austin, they had five or six left. My friend grabbed one, walked up to the cashier at the battery and tire cashier, and told him he would buy it for $10 since it was on clearance. Cashier was cool with that. $10 for AG HD? Not a bad deal...
You can bargain anywhere....i do it with beef (steaks) all the time at the grocery store. End of the day or last day the steak are "good to sell" I just cut the price by 25-40% and say I will buy it for that and they normally do say yeah...as they will just throw it out.
Oh for those north of the border wondering... I went to 3 walmarts in the past week. None of them had it on clearance
i would take one box to register or to price scanner, its very rare when ppl know anything about product at that store
got more today, $10 trick didnt work, oh well i noticed that only old type store layout have them. new stores that were built within couple of years with new store layout dont have this for some reason. at this point i was at 5 stores, 2 that had it had same store layout
how long can the wax stay packaged for? i was thinking of grabbing 2 but if 1 tub lasts for so many applications then i don't want the other tub to go "bad/spoiled" is there a general guideline for a majority of waxes? like after opening, finish the wax in xx years? i don't think anything should happen to the other tub while it remains in its packaging, but i just want to make sure. basically, what's the shelf life of an opened wax and an un-opened wax?
