AG on clearance at Wal*Mart...

Thanks for te tip. I stopped by this morning and picked up one of the last three boxes. It includes a nice red applicator and towel. I passed on the $5 hand applicator as it's a little small for my hand.

 

Does anybody know if its available at walmart.com as stated in my last post #77

 

I was just at a Walmart today and they had 3 boxes for $20 each.

I saw three boxes at my Wal mart. I bought one lol $20 still. I also picked up a couple of those hand form fitting applicator pads for $5 each.

 

Well after calling 3 Walmarts in with no luck having it on sale, the fourth had it for $20 so I drove a distance to get it since it was half way around the city but I got it finally! Cant wait to try it out. Thanks again P1et great find

 

I saw 3 of them at my local Walmart...didn't even bother...have way too many waxes already, I need to spend money on equipment, not another wax...

 

How good is this wax? I'm going to Best Buys later and there is a WM next to it so I'm going to check to see if they still have them.

 

From what I have read, it has to go on very thin in order to be able to remove it easily. Also, you have to dampen the applicator. Minor annoyances, but for $20, how can you go wrong?

IMHO, its easily the most underrated wax available. Beads like crazy, very good depth and wetness with great durability. It was a steal at $50. As P1et said, get it on thin. If you cant see your reflection, it's too thick. Drying times vary, but it likes to dry before removing unlike most waxes. The swipe test is your friend. Also, the polymers make it metallic friendly.

 

How long would you estimate the average durability for AG HD, also can I top a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond with AG HD. I ask because I have an existing coat on mine at the moment

 

Yes you can top WD with it. Depending on wash products, 4-6 months. Here are some pics from my Passat.

I had someone check a walmart in Bakersfield and hd wax was marked down to 20 bucks .
I'm going to try and get 1 more and I'll be good on HD autoglym

 

Anyone find HD eerily similar to Megs M16? Its hard on/off if using too much, has nice sharp reflections and a good bit of depth and it beads like crazy for a long time.

 

Just picked up 3 today at my local Walmart. 2 are going out to another DB member.
