I gotta tell you, this is what I think of as well. I am very skeptical only because we all know what kind of marketing goes into products that end up being average performers. Considering the information that is volunteered, and no direct tests. This has me still skeptical of it. I wonder if its something along the lines of optiseal. Good performance, but once you add in wipers and regular washes, I wonder.

I'll chime in as the 'Adams Shill' and tell you I've done my Avalanche 3x (testing) all windows, my wifes Chevy Equinox... a customers VW Tiguan... a Porsche GT3 windshield only... and half a 2010 Camaro (demos) and still had enough to cover the granite countertops. The bottle still has some left after all of that too... gonna use some on my shower doors next. I gave my wife the other tester bottle and shes done a few things around the house with it.

Its pretty concentrated and the sprayer we chose is a very fine atomizer so it makes the most of the amount you get in the kit.

Definitely report back guys... the problem with my testing is that SoCal doesn't really lend itself well to rainy product testing. When it has rained its been pretty mild, but for what it was exposed to here it worked phenomenal. Guys who tested in other parts of the country had positive results as well, but of course everywhere is different.

Can't wait to hear the feedback.

Ok, we just got over 8 inches of rain in the past couple days here in CT. I can say so far that Adam's holds up better than rain-x against wiper blades. I am a big fan of rain-x ( never really tried anything else thou ) and rain-x always seamed to wear out quick once you need to use your wipers. So plus 1 for Adam's, still needto do a long term test. As for the beading, I'm not sure just yet if it's because I had some rain-x on my windshield or if it's the Adam's acting different but it seams like rain-x would run off sooner where Adam's you need to be moving faster. Rain-x would start to leave or run off at say 40ish MPH and Adam's is more like 50ish MPH.
This is just a quick observation, maybe I'm over thinking it or focusing to much. I will report back with more info after a long term test.
I do have to say the faster you go the better it works. :D

    hmm
maybe i'll do a half and half on mine. rainx is just such a PITA to apply and buff off to me though :)

same here! I dont get home some people say its easy to use! I have the trigger version and its garbage! Too much streaks in direct sunlight, so I just use a paint sealant on my windows- crystal glo and it works great ;)

I live a bit north of Seattle. It rains all the time here! I haven't found a glass sealant I like yet as a couple days of rain and it's gone.

I'll have to get some soon :)

Will do Phil! I will copy and post that and report back later with more long term results

rain-x is very easy to use, just apply to your windows BEFORE you wash your car and it will come out perfectly clean. The normal washing will remove the hard part and leave the rain-x behind to do it's job. This is for the spray bottle version

I picked up a bottle from Phil along with a few other items, must say its easy to use (I applied just like in the video, clay bar and all) and I really didnt notice much the first rainfall, but after that it worked as advertised. Almost seems like it needed time to react. Now the water beads so well I dont have to use my wipers unless its a fine mist in which case nothing works . Did my car and my wifes and hardly put a dent in the bottle. I would say 20 to 30 applications are possible per 4oz bottle. Also as a side note Adams glass cleaner is one of the best I've used so far! I picked up a 16oz bottle from Phil and now will have to get the gallon. Adams detail spray also makes a great glass cleaner, its just not cost effective. I give this product a thumbs up!
