5starshine..... FLAME ON!

I agree with Porta on remarking on a product and not actually trying it...I never used it...But a guy in work uses it and his car looks great all winter long...he goes summer to summer with just doing it once ....its the marketing that makes people shy away from the product....

when i first did reviews on DG stuff like 111 105 AW people balked at it.. as it was a OTC product and not a BOTIQUE item...now it is a stple product to use..

Never judge a book by the cover....

I am not promoting it ..just funny how people BOO it but never used it..it may be a top product as far as a sealant..I do not think 5 years is its life span but maybe like Porta said over a year..thats decent durability to me....


Its all in the chemical make up..not the sales pitch...

I trust Porta's review as I know he has run products thru the tests many times and is a First Class detailer....

Do you know if Xzilon and 5Star are similar products? Their claims are pretty much identical.

 

I was wondering why everyone was flaming this, but then I remembered that 4* was the good brand!!! It confused me...

 

Xzilion and 5starshine is not the same. 5Starshine is the "tv commercial version" of PPS.

I have seen cars after 16 months with very good sheeting and I have never seen a sealant that is even close to this. Gtechniq C1 is a good competitioner though.

5starshine is a expensive paint sealant but then in the end it´s always the customer who pays for it. As I told before, I can seal three medium sized cars with one kit.

this 5-star stuff claims to be using the same polymeric protection as Swissvax shield, PTFE, if I am reading this promo correctly

 

who wants five year protection anyway, then you can't try out all the products to see which one looks the best, haha

 

Maybe people that aren't product whores who want to try out different stuff all the time like us?

I bought a sample of this product called PPS ( Ebay),wasn't pleased at all with it, it only lasted a couple of months ,wasn't impressed with the shine either.

 

Is this the PPS you bought?
