wow aweosme pics are you proff photographer? What camera/lens are you using on those shots? Any websites you recommend for me to learn more about taking great pics? I am looking at getting a new camera now, so far the new Canon XSI sounds good but I dont know alot about camera's so I am going by what i read. thanx for your time!
Thanks. I'm definitely NOT a pro photographer, but taking photos is one of my other hobbies. I used to take a lot of photos years ago, but just got REALLY into it in the last three years or so. I shoot with a Canon 20d with a battery grip and a bunch of different lenses: 24-105 f4L IS 70-200 f2.8L IS 35 f1.4L (prob. my favorite) 100 f2.8 macro 50 f1.4 17-85 f4-5.6 IS (for sale) Also have a Canon G9 I have been using occasionally when I need something more compact. I made the decision that its better to spend money on great lenses than on the newest camera bodies that will lose value quickly. I learned most of what I know through POTN (photography-on-the.net/forum). There are some very talented people on there! I also picked up the book "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. Great for an intro to camera settings and such.
thank you very much for your post brian. P1 funny u say that I was just reading about that camera and I was impressed I liked the fact it had image stabilizer
