Actually this was a solo mission... she wanted no part of it and I can't say I blame here LOL Set the camera up on a tripod for most shots, set a 5 second delay timer and used a an RF remote shutter release (kept in my pocket) to snap the needed shots. This was literally start to finish a 1 man job. I don't remember exactly how many tanks I went thru with the LGM, but off the top of my head I think I emptied and refilled it 4 or 5 times to do the entire interior. I'm sure it'll be trashed before the next time I see it, but I'm trying not to think about that LOL I'll post some pics of my personal product collection soon. Any abrasive can be used... nothing that you'd use on paint is aggressive enough to actually cut glass... what I was using it for was to abrade (scrub) the surface. So long as the glass isn't etched the combo of a pad and polish will scrub the glass clean, but it won't remove damage like scratches. Even on this there were some small areas (specifically the base of the windshield) where the glass was too far gone to fix... in those cases its a matter of learning to live with it or replacing the glass.
Interesting sealant there. Any insight to durability yet? I assume it varies depending on the surface?
Decent. It'll make it thru at least a few washes and subsequent cleanings are much easier. Still in testing phases... under fair conditions with a weekly automated wash, and 24/7 outdoor storage the durability is about 2-3 months on paint (before total failure). Still more testing and tweaks to be done before its ready to go... the original target was 2 months with easy/speed of application being paramount. If we can meet/beat that 2 month mark in during the current summer heat and still with the heavy detergent washing we'll be happy. So far its proven to be VERY detergent resistant so thats a good sign.
Amazing work on this one, it didn't look _that_ bad in the befores but the afters REALLY show how much work you put into it.
Even after that intense detail you took the time to write it up for us. Thank you so much. I hope he was happy with his gift. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
Thanks for the compliments everyone... it was a gratifying job for sure, but I'm gonna need a few weekends off to recover LOL
Its rare to see that big of a vehicle looking that clean. I think the last two I've seen have been this one and your Avalanche:thumb: Great job!
Thanks. Scary as it is... my next appointment (July 23rd) is bigger  Here it is after the last time I had it...
