Hi everyone. Below you will find a 2012 GT-R in Jet Black. It belongs to my long term client (I recently started to maintain it weekly for him). The paint on this one was surprisingly hard, which was nice change from the usual FR-S/BRZ I've been doing. This detail took a little over 12 hours, which isn't too bad considering how thorough it was since I had to prep it for Opti Guard. Here is a list of all the goodies used in the detail: Tools: Griot's Garage 6" ROP Porter Cable 7424XP Griot's Garage 3"ROP Festool ShineX Karcher 5.85M Pressure Washer Autoglos Foam Cannon Brinkmann Light LED Light Halogen Worklamp 2 Bucket Method Swissvax Wheel Brush EZ Detail Wheel Brush #0000 Steel Wool Buff & Shine 5.5" Orange Pads Buff & Shine 5.5" Yellow Pads Meguiar's 5" Microfiber Cutting Pads Meguiar's 3" Microfiber Cutting Pads Microfiber Tech 560GSM towels Microfiber Tech Edgeless Towels Chemicals: Meguiar's Hyperwash Meguiar's APC+ Auto Finesse Lather Shampoo Optimum ONR Auto Finesse Imperial Wheel Cleaner CarPro TRIX Speedy Prep Towel Meguiar's D300 Compound Scholl Concepts S3 Gold Compound HD Advance Polish Optimum Opti Guard is LSP Before Wash: Wheel In Progress: Getting A Foam Bath: The "Real" Condition Of The Vehicle After I Stripped Existing Protection: I Stopped Long Enough To Snap A Picture In The Sun: The Rest Are Afters, No Sun Shots Here Since It Was Well Past 8pm When I Got Done:
