So from a rule point of view, what if I'm detailing part time under a business name, does that make me a "pro" and unable to compete?
You know I really need to finish up the revised rules for this. I've been working on these rules for the past few weeks and I'm just about done with them. I'm having a friend of mine, who happens to be a lawyer review my rules and modify them as required. I'm going to make sure the rules are crystal clear, with a little bit of lawyer lingo in it. To answer your question, if your income from detailing is 10% or more then in my mind your a professional detailer. If you have a business name (doesn’t have to be registered or incorporated) then I consider you a professional. This competition is geared to those that detail once in a wile, what I call 'weekend warriors'. Even weekend warriors get paid for details but where I'm going to be drawing the line is that a weekend warrior may detail perhaps 10 to 20 vehicles a year where a professional detailer will detail 50 to 100 vehicles a year (if not more). I do apologize for the unclear rules so far, but I assure you the rules will be crystal clear when I'm all done with them. Mean wile if any one has any questions about the rules feel free to post it here or just send me a PM. But I hope this helps.
