I use trizat 3000 one all new Mercedes that are trying to knock down the peel. This generally works on any of the newer 2006 or newer.
Thank you for that info, good to know and should I ever get a job to remove orange peal I know who to ask
Wow this one didn't look like fun, great turn around Carlos i'm actually surprised at how much better it turned out great work. This vehicle is the prime example why I'm affraid of wetsanding, if not done properly:yikes:
Well I still enjoyed my self with the wool pad but like I said I felt robed with this one...I mean one side looked great the other side...well not so great. You know wetsanding is actually not that difficult you just have to be careful and pay attention to what your doing oh and always, always check your work...really it's not that difficult. Besides, it's always good to feel burning through the clear coat and into the paint, once you've done it you'll never do it again :giggle: I joke, I joke eace:
Great work as alwaysCarlos. Too bad the owner robbed the ending for you. Seems like he wanted the orange peel gone so bad. That he wet sanded in a rush. You need patience, good lighting and a paint gauge.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it eace: Yea well you make due with what you get, thank you for the feed back, very much appreciated :afro: Thank you Jay for the feed back :chest: Thank you zoom, well we all have different flavor/taste I guess
Talk about soldiering through a bad situation........... great save in spite of the customer trying to do brainsurgery on himself as this job was a liability nightmare Carlos. Car is looking great now and some touch up paint will be needed as if that was my car my eyes would go right to the strike through areas everytime.
Carlos...great job on the Benz! I'm sure the owner has stuck his foot up his arse kicking himself so hard....he should anyway!! Bloody fool on a new car. You did justice to it even though you were so limited by what you could do.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it eace: Thank you Bob, I agree every time I looked at the car the first thing I saw (in my head that is) was the burt area...maybe that's why I got no satisfaction on this one but thank you for the feed back, very much appreciated. Thank you richy, the owner is a very nice person but I could tell he wasn't very pleased with him self about what he had done to his vehicle...any who owner said the vehicle would be heading over to the body shop to get fixed properly. Thank you for the feed back richy, very much appreciated :chest:
