What did you use on the diamond plate how quick does it work?

For the most part I just sprayed the entire diamond plate down with P21S Total Auto Wash there were some areas that needed a bit more and I just used my Autosol with a micro fiber, but just for some random spots. Keep in mind this is a brand new fire truck so the diamond plate hasn't been really abused just driven back from the US.

Thank you sumdetailer for the kind words, very much appreciated. The interesting thing is that I've detailed for trucks that were going to the same place, four trucks! These bad boys are not cheap at all, but they asured me the place they were going puts these trucks to some hard work too. I still havent seen any trucks after I detail them, most of the trucks go out of town so hard for me to see them but I'd love to see what they do with them..besides the obvious that is lol. Glad you enjoyed it :peace:

    Looks great Carlos!

What would you charge for a vehicle that size?

I haven't detailed anything that big before, the largest truck I've done is a Ford F-350 Quad Cab Extened Bed Harley Edition:crasy:

    Awesome job! :thumb:

Thank you Richie Carbone, glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, it is quite large but it's really not that bad to detail, besides it was a wash and seal and interior so it took some time but not too bad. Those F-350 are big, I've polished my share of them and boy talk about large surface panels :mounty:

That's a huuge truck! Looks like it has squashed some bugs during it's time:p
Came out really great! Awesome work, you must have alot of guts taking on that big of a job!

Thank you for the compliment, very much appreciated. The truck is big yes, but size has nothing to do with anything it comes down to time. The bigger they are the longer they take...that and this was a simple wash and seal, I've only done one fire truck with a full detail with paint correction and that took a very long time. Over three days, but it was very rewarding :thumb:
