    luke093 Welcome to Detailing

HD Poxy is a good sealant wax combo. It really does make the car reflective and deep :) I just washed and waxed my uncles Blue RX and it looks great (other than the swirls- gotta do that in a few weeks...) Im torn on HD uno or my SIP and 85RD [thanks btw ;) ]... only thing, is that Uno is hard to remove, but once I figure out or HD replies on the proper removal I'll try it once more.

One thing I hate is I did the hood of my dads Black CRV (Fall) and this winter my dad used a cloth terry and water to remove the salt, as you can expect the result was horrible, and pissed me off so much. Im pretty much the only one that touches my dads cars now :p I only let him rinse and clean rims.

Hey Denzil - yes they are.

HD UNO - just the finish it leaves even with an orange pad is unreal. Now, as far as correction is concerned? Not as aggressive as SSR3, but as good as 105. I compared the look of UNO to 85rd side by side - UNO on driver's door, 85 RD on rear door and from a good angle 85RD looked plasticky compared to UNO. I really should have finished down with UNO on this detail with a finishing pad. But, I wanted to see if UNO can stand up to 85RD. Maybe it is just my eyes. :crasy: - I am just happy that it makes detailing simple now. Although at times UNO is finicky when it is time to remove it.

HD POXY - Of all the LSPs that I have ever used, none leaves a finish that improves the look as much as this. That includes big $$$ Swisswax waxes. I do not know how 3D did it but I am sold.
PS: It doesn't matter what color you put POXY on. YOU WILL SEE THE HUGE DIFFERENCE.

I see - Never used it before and didn't get it. Sorry. I think it took away from the look POXY left. Oh well, more protection for the owner.

NIKKU - Thanks, but my pictures are not that great. I really need a better camera. In fact I need to first get better taking better pictures with what I have now.

I do appreciate everyones replies. Thank you guys!!!!

sounds like i better try out a bottle.

Problem with Uno is this . . . . . . is the product itself abrasive? If so that means you wouldn't want to use it on your vehicle say if you just wanted to do a one step to remove some very light swirling and marring where you would use something like:

    Power Finish or even 106F?

Wouldn't using Uno on every car be over kill in some cases? I hope im explaining things properly.

UNO is pad dependant. Use it with a red pad and it will act like a finishing polish. You DO want to use it on every car. Wait till you see the look of it.

Hey, you may not care for the look but I find it the sharpest of all.
