Thank you for the kind words and glad you enjoyed it, thank you for the feed back, very much appreciated :thumb: Glad you enjoyed the detail, thanks for the compliment. As for the 3M backing plate, well I pesonaly think they are worth the price I've used the yellow foam backing plate since the sumer and to be honest I cant see my self using any other kind of backing plate...heck that's why I wanted the Menzerna 6inch wool pads so I wouldn't have to change backing plates any more. Well what I'm trying to say is that I like the 3M backing plate and to me they are well worth the price..but that's just me :2cents: lol..funny you should say it looks like a UK detail lol...I've been spending quite a bit of time chatting with a few UK detailers and I've been getting some wicked tips and tricks from them. It's funny becuase I was talking with my friend Gerry (owner of the body shop that I've been hanging out at) and he was telling me that the UK's technology is way a head of Canadian...he was refering to paint technology...and I can totaly see it because the UK detailers are very knowlegable when it comes to paint correction and that's becuse most of them at one point and time actually worked at autobody shops..well some not all...any who I'm trying to absorbe as much information as I can from the UK detailers and my friend Gerry with the intention of becoming a better detail..lol..so yea I'm a bit influenced by the UK boys lol..just a little :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: Right then the Zymol duster, I'm very pleased with it. It dosen't behave the same like a regular duster it's really interesting it does an incredable job at picking up all the dust that's left over from polishing process...it works really good and the more I use it the more I'm starting to think that I can avoid re-washing the vehicle...well that depends on how bad the dusting is...I used to rinse the vehicle off after the polishing process but now with the Zymol duster I can sometimes avoid it...I say some times becuase I'm now two for two :thumb: but the more I use it the more familiar I'll get with it :joint: I'm looking forward on having to polish a car and usin Powe Gloss that stuff dusts really good then i'll be able to see how well the Zymol duster works :thumb:
um...you got me on that one buddy I got mine from Polished Bliss UK..mmm...I wonder if Diane from US Zymol could get one not sure though.

Nice :thumb: let me know what your thoughts are on the duster when you get it :chest: Oh by the way where did you get it from? I'm assuming it's from the US.
WOW, great work. Some beautifully wet looking white paint, love Alpine White! Even in your time restrictions, you did great. Always love your wheel before and afters. I found myself an EZ Wheel Brush at the local Ace Hardware store and cannot wait to put it to the test. It was only $5 so what do I have to lose???
Wow that's a great deal P1et $5 wow you shoul dhave picked up another one if they had more :thumb: glad you enjoyed the detail my friend :chest:
How is the deonized water working for you? ANd ho wmuch you think it cost to maintain one per month? Kind of want one. haha
Its going to cost about a refill a month (or a little more) Also depending on how hard your water is. Go on Ebay and buy a TDS meter (around 10-20 bucks with shipping) My water is at 180 and it lasts me about that long. A drum is around $200 and lasts 4 refills. I have the machine and I LOVE IT!
 yup I agree with FMINUS, system works great...to be honest if it wasen't for this system the fire trucks would look horrible with water spots. It makes drying and washing the trucks really easy. Well worth the price if you ask me, one of the best Dionized water system out there, reason I say that is becuase there are many other kind but this one has one of the best water flow...it may not seem like it but compared to what's out there around the same price range this one is one of the best ones..there are better but your talking some  dollar figuires. Like FMINUS said if you do purhcase this system go with the drum size resins, best bang for your $. I'll be ordering these drums for the rest of my detailing career :thumb: Thank you supercharged, I'm really looking forward on seeing the durability of these products Sparkie, Al-53 and many others have said great things about it's durability so I'm looking forward on it :thumb:
Fantastic work! Especially for having to knock this job out. I like to have them overnight as well. Whoever said white paint can't pop? I like it! :woot: Great documentation! Almost like being there. DLR
Yes I usually get vehicles over night or for a weekend so I can take my time but I was please wih the results and the time I got it done in. I agree with you any colour either ligh or dark can look great if done right, dark colour vehicles are a bit more rewarding but it's all good. Glad you enjoyed the write up and thank you for the feed back eace:
Looks awesome like always . I bet that BMW is happy. Thanks for sharing the video too. When do you feel like using the Makita as opposed to using the Metabo?
Glad you enjoyed it klumz, as to when I choose to use the Makita over the Metabo...well to be honest I'm liking the Makita but what determines when I switch is how many curves the vehicle has...don't get me wrong both machines will get the job done both machines are great but when I get a vehicle with lots of fine, sexy curves I'll get the Metabo out, it's weight and what I love the most is the way it molds in my hands...the Makita is a great tool as well but I need to get a bit more familiar with it, basically build up confidence :thumb: But I'm really glad I have both, it's nice having the option of having both to choose from..but it can be a pain some times lol eace:
it's nice you have two machines so Makita for the nice curves ey...interesting. Thanks a lot for the info
