I appreciate the reply Carlos. You are definitely a very passionate person when it comes to detailing. I think many can take away how you approach detailing. Cheers and keep the cars coming
Yes, word of mouth is how my name and number gets around, I really don't advertise...well I shouldn't say that. Here is how I advertise, it kinda just happened to work out that way to be honest...well when I started detailing I showed a few coworkers what I did on the weekend, some of my coworkers told me to e-mail them the link to the write ups I normally do, so I did. The e-mail list started with about 2 or 4 coworkers. Now that same list is well over 100 emails and it's a combination of coworkers and individuals who have been referred to me. Every vehicle I detail I do a write up and I get an e-mail from the owner where I send them the write up, some ask if I could add them to the email list so they can see what I work on, so I add their email address to the list....so I can't say I don't advertise in a way I do...but if I share the link with lets say 100 emails I wonder if those 100 send it other friends/family members..ect..ect..so word of mouth is my only way of advertising. If I remember correctly, these rims were not coated in fact the chrome was starting to show pitting on one of the rims. I can't remember who told me they were not coated though or where I read it...but I haven't had any issues by using Autosol on Vett's rims...well so far that is. On rims I know are coated I wont use Autosol, it scratches them up even more and makes them look really bad..I did this to my Volvo :shakehead:
Thank you guys for the kind feed back, very much appreciated. I too thought the blue suited the Vette...but I just have a thing for blue :woo:
Glad you enjoyed it, as long as you enjoy and are passionate about detailing you'll do just fine. Don't get caught up on the money aspect, worry more about end results and you'll see money just falls in place...but that's just my opinion. Glad you enjoyed it eace:
