That is a whole lot of car to be having to detail, you did a great job man!

Amazing Carlos, the Maurder is a great car, slap on a supercharger, tune it and some gears and you have a 12 second grandpa car

Yep. The engine is the same as the 03-04 Mach 1 Mustang.

Looks like The Marauder was trying to give you a workout, great sleeper car but notorious when it comes to detail one. Awesome finish on it Nica:applause:

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :peace:

 I enjoy my garage floor, I could literally eat of off it (well not really but just an expression) so laying on it is fine in my books :thumb: Thank you for the feed back, very much appreciated :thumb:

I agree, the rims I thought were really neat and I enjoyed making them shine even more :headbang:

Glad to hear you enjoyed it :chest:

Sure was, it tested me but I'm always up for a good challenge :graduation:

I agree, the engine bay has so much room and the engine it's self is huge...definitely a sleeper

That's the advantage of working on dark colour vehicles, it's easier to capture the 50/50 pictuers :thumb: Thank you for the feed back.

Well I'm expecting a bunch of them from the machine shop, I just need to call them or pay them a visit to see if they are done. Once I have the extensions I'll make a thread about it so members can have as many as they desire. Now if you want one right a way, here’s what you can do. If you can try to get the ‘spindle extension’ from the Metabo, take that to the machine shop and tell them you’d like one made up for you exactly the same, well not sure if your after the 5/8th to M14 threads or simply 5/8th to 5/8th. Well just a suggestion, hope it helps, I honestly haven’t found a reputable place to pick up such extensions from. So far most members that own an extension have been custom made

It did give me a work out, but that's okay I need the challenge other wise it gets boring, it's good to change it up once in a wile...maybe that's why I enjoy detailing so much, the fact that each vehicle is different and each one has it's unique way of detailing it  who knows but I enjoyed this one very much look forward to the next :thumb:

Very nice Carlos. The Marauder looks amazing. I'm looking after the same model car in September and this little write up lets me know what to expect in terms of the clear coat. I appreciate it.

Btw do you find that the polishing pad you were using with m105 finishes off less nicely than with a wool like tufbuf of PFW?

Glad this will help you out, that's what it's here for :peace:

Regarding M105 with a wool pad, I tried it..mind you I tried M105 with my Menzerna wool pads, I did this just to see if it would help with the sticky clear coat..well it did the draw back was that it did more harm then good. The wool pad was too aggressive for this clear coat. I've never tried tufbuf or PFW my favorite wool pad is Menzerna among others but the one I tried on this vehicle was my Menzerna wool pad. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to do a test of several wool pads with M105 when i get my hands on it. Tufbuf seems to finish off very nicely well at least with SIP. A little hazing that easily looked after by PO85rd or Ultrafina.

    Again great work Carlos!

I would rather wait for yours. My threads would be 5/8 to 5/8. and I need four total.

Carlos..great job on the Maurader! I didn't realize they had sticky clear coats? The funny thing is, that's the EXACT car I had as an under-cover traffic enforcement vehicle for several years. Can I make that baby go!!!!!! You can drift it through a corner like nobody's business...very neutral handling car...I loved having it as my cruiser!! I miss it. Too bad my department wouldn't let me get my buffing wheel on it...oh well. You sure made that one look great.

Sounds good, look forward on seeing the detail glad I could help...a bit :peace:

Sounds good, I'll double check with the machine shop I had ordered 100's of them but last time I paid them a visit they were really busy with oil and gas parts and things were just slowing down. Now I'm 'assuming' work has really, really slowed down for them and should have the peaces made up for me, I hope :beg:

Yea, the owner said that these were the cop vehicles. Lots of room inside them and I bet you made these things move, it looks like a great machine to drive around I mean the suspension felt really nice..mind you I only drove it inside my garage but it just felt smooth and soft...but that's as far as I drove it...don't like driving other peoples vehicles, makes me nervous and I get all paranoid that I'm going to nick it :paranoia: Thanks for the feed back richy, very much appreciated my friend :drinking:

I love those cars. I just picked up a 97 Grand Marquis with very low miles. I love big cars though.

Thank you my friend, glad you enjoyed it...good to see your eye is getting better :peace:

Congrats on the purhcase, big cars are comfortable inside and usually ride very nice :thumb: I can understand why you like big cars :peace: So where are the pics of the Marquis

I take that back. I pick it up tonight. Pics will come shortly. We left the deposit on it last night.

I drive an ex cop car (2002 Crown Vic) at work all day long. It's sort of junky because it was never cared for by the police or by my department but it has 94,000 city miles and still runs so that's good.

Well still, it's going to be your car so the congrats still apply :peace: Don't worry about it's appearance/looks you should see my rust bucket, beat up Jeep. Thing has so much rust my hand will fit through the passenger door soon...but the engine just doesn't want to die, it keeps on going and going...I mean it has over 300k km and it just keeps going, I don't even take good care of it all I do is change the oil  well I'll drive it till it dies it makes a great winter beater :thumb:

That's my little nephew my sister came over and my little nephew loves hanging out in the garage with me, he held the light I took the pictures :thumb:
