I did this clients brand new 2010 A6 Avant a couple of months ago, and this beautiful DB7 was up from it's summer home in Carmel! It stays there year-round for the most part, and only has 9500 miles on it! Will be 10 years old in June

    When I first arrived:

Started with the wheels. They got Megs Wheel Brightener 4:1, arches P21s TAW

Then I moved right to polishing. I ended up doing a 3 step on the hood, trunk, and roof, and a one-step on the rest of the paint. I figured it'd be typical gloss-black soft paint. NOPE! Decently hard, actually. Armed with my Flex DA, the horizontal panels received M105+PFW, M105+Orange Uber Pad, and M205+LC White Flat pad. The vertical panels got M105+Orange pad before switching to a white pad to finish off the haze.

Tires and wheel wells got Megs HD 3:1, wheels waxed with werkstat AJT, exhaust polished with P21S polishing soap.

LSP was two coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP

Afters.. sun was way behind the trees at this point:

Aaron you're getting better and better. Amazing work. i also re read your thread on the scotch brite pads I can't believe the lady didn't go for a wash and wax on top of the wetsanding. You really showed us your abilities.

On another note I honestly hate non metallic black cars. So many headaches. GRRRR lol.

    Cheers!

Great job Aaron, good thing they came to the best detailer in your area or it would have never looked that good with all the wannabe detailers in your area. Keep up the great work buddy.
