Nice job! Looks great. I have a question pertaining to the car itself though: what is different on the R from the GTI?

 

Joey, the R has more power, AWD, different exhaust setup, limited in #'s - just to name a few.

 

old thread but any comment on pad / polish combo? I have one of these coming in this week for the same service

I'll be sure to look for that staining along the rocker panels

 

Bryan, used Rupes, Rupes green pad, and Scholls S3G. Paint is not hard at all and measures between 95 and 125 microns.
