I have a client that wants a correction done on his 2011 ford mustang. The story is he bought it from the dealership after some guy brought it back because its black and said it has swirls and RIDS all over it. So after doing some research about the clearcoat I assume its fairly soft? Ive heard from other people it scrathes really easy and its a pain in the $%S to maintain.
Actually the 2011 5.0 GT/CS I corrected was extremely hard. Even harder than my 2010 Mercedes ML 350's clear. It took me 40+ hours to complete it but thats including the interior. But the clear was really hard man it was really taking some time with M105 and Yellow Ubers on my makita. I actually had to go to a local paint supply store and get a 3M Superbuff III wool pad to get the job done in time since it was taking too long to correct with the yellow ubers. Its in the show in shine section man. I would post the link but im replying from my cell phone. A member I know on moddedmustang.com has told me that his 2010 black GT has a very soft clear. Every new black Mustang that I have read or talked to people about have said that the clears are very soft? Maybe the black paint is sprayed with a different clear?

Nice work man! That red really glows in the after shots. I will try to get some pics of the mustang if i have time and post them up later this week.
