Your problem is the 7.5" pads. Get a 5" backing plate with 5.5" pads and you'll see the swrils disappear.
If you want a soft waffle weave towel, get the Pakshak Ultra soft Waffle weave towel. For a soft towel it holds a lot of water.

They are both great mitts, but the GTech is a little softer.
I have both, but keep reaching for the GTechniq more often. Pakshak just got in a new shipment of mitts.

Very reflective finish more of a sealant look than a nuba. Chemical smell, but leaves a bright finish. One of my top 4 QD's.

I agree Misha and that's why I like Gtech P1..one polish that is pad dependent.
