https://www.dropbox.com/s/td31bx6k2drjekg/2013-05-17 21.25.40.jpg It's a Nissan Frontier. What do you guys use to clean this so it isn't sticky anymore? I've tried a few APCs to wipe it down. Didn't help much. Is there something specific you guys use for this?
I would try steam next. What did you use with the different APC's though? Did you use just a microfiber towel?
If you are using an APC, try using an interior only cleaner. APCs can leave residue if not rinsed which can be sticky.
I know what you are dealing with ... my brother has a Pathfinder and I detailed a 2006 Altima with the same issue. I couldn't get the stickiness completely gone, but it wasn't as bad once I cleaned it with 1Z deep cleaner and finished with 1Z cockpit.
^^^ this, I used chemical guys leather cleaner on some steering wheels after realizing that the APC was making it worse.
I used APC because I didn't have any dedicated interior cleaners on me. I did wipe it off some distilled water afterwards to clean off the nasty APC residues. I'll get some cleaners for the interior and give it a try. Thanks for the responses, everyone.
