Nice blue :druling: :druling: man the colour looks great, I love blue colour vehicles and the rims really compliment the vehicle :applause2:
It's 6.6 Turbo D-Max.. 18 miles to the gal with no trailer. When I bought this truck new in June of 04 deisel was $1.62 gal last summer I was almost paying $5.00 a gal.. it's back down to $2.19 or so.. those are some pretty dramatic jumps that I don't believe there is one honest logical reason for.
Only had her for a month or so..she is going under the knife due to a balance shaft belt snapping =[ The day I put her on the road is the day the belt snapped..I haven't had a chance to detail her yet "Detailer's car is the last to get detailed"
Here's a nice rolling shot of my daily. It's not much, but it gets me by and I don't mind if it gets dinged or bruised: Now, my pride and joy. I only take it out one weekend of month if there's no rain in the forecast, and the temp and humidity are right:
I have a 2004 Pontiac GTO. I have done a Monaro conversion, making it look the way it did in Australia where it was made. Well, except the right hand drive. Mods? Oh yes, she has those. 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX Far from stock Eye Goodies: Was recently in a collision but it's all repaired and looks better than new! Mods: Bigger turbo 910cc injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Bigger top mount intercooler Whiteline SwayBars + endlinks Cusco struts on custom rate springs Custom brakes from GiroDisc (Can get people a mad hookup) Perrin re circulatory blowoff (stocker crapped out @19psi) And one hell of a tune. Oh, and lots of tires Here she's in winter/rally mode -- I put her back to fun/sleeper mode for the summer
Nice!! Using a rally inspired car for what it's heritage shows! Not only street! Is there a reason you went with a larger top mount as opposed to a FMIC? Isn't that a mod a lot STI/wrx owners do first? This mod just intrigued me. edit, you can't post all those goodies and not the numbers!!
I haven't dyno'd yet, but once I get on meth and E85 I'll be pushing 420whp. I like the larger topmount because it keeps my spool-up low. If you think about the FMIC piping, it's a larger volume, over a longer distance. And you have to push the same amount of pressure (psi) through that longer distance and larger volume. No thanks. The TMIC is JUST about at it's breaking point for my goals. Once I go any more (which I will soon, sleeved block + goodies in the makings) I'll be forced to go FMIC.... We'll burn that bridge when I get there. I carefully choose all of my mods to be well balanced and compliment the car -- not have a hodgepodge of brand names thrown all over it randomly. I make 22psi at 3400rpms... and that's damned impressive for a 2.0L
Oh, and you wouldn't BELIEVE The swirls and scratches I had after that fun. LOL. Oh well. Totally worth it.
2002 Honda Civic LX No performance mods yet.....Needs to be cleaned, But I like how it loooks . And the family car...2004 Ford Taurus LX (vulcan)
