I have seen that Zymol states to apply Concours by hand, then wipe off immediately. Is this correct? I have seen some posts that people allow the Zymol to haze or apply the wax to the entire car then buff the wax off. What is the correct method? Thanks for the help in advance.
the correct method according tozymol is apply to a small section via hand application. let stand for 30 seconds wpe with mg towel. come baclk 3-4 hours later and wipe with a new mf towel this works really well, when you come back after a few hours use field glaze. Also do not let it dry.. its apita when it dries
Good that's what I have been doing, just wanted to make sure. Are you the one that applied the Vintage by hand with your friend by hand to the whole car then wiped it off. If so, why can you let the Vintage haze, but not the Concours? thanks
vintage is supposted to stand for 5 minutes. With two guys you can do the whole car in 10ish. So theres not big deal. its no easeir o remove right away. Concours on the hand is a paint to remove when it dries... i dont know why but thas the way it is... i would like to know.. perhaps is the nuba content?
I am considering the vintage for my high end clients and my personal cars. Do you see a big difference between concours and vintage, other than the free refills?
i love vintage, i have yet to find a wax that rivals it. perhas divine. (carlos im watching you use it lol). I know i get some slack about loving vintage so much but i really do. I love carunuba, vintage is the pinnacle of nuba.. well from what i ihave tried anyway. Heres the thing with vintage, appernlty zymol is changing there site to say that they will not honour the refills unless it is for personal use. I use it for personal use only (will not use it on customers cars at all) so its a non issue tome, however it might be something to look into. but vintage is an awsome wax. I have been very very happy with my purchase... and the refills dont hurt either
ABSOLUTELY do not let Concours Haze you will be in for a long day if you do. I made the mistake the 1st time I used Concours it took me a couple of hours to get it off. The thing that I have learned most with using Zymol products is do NOT deviate from the instructions. If you do, be willing to accept the consiquences.
I agree.. Its extremely wise to do one panel at a time. Ive recently run out of concours and it is a great product. My new tub is coming next week. Vintage.... Well. To be honest, ive used it once. And to this day, i have yet to use anything else that is that good, both in optics and depth/gloss.
