Thanks again for the write up for people like me who have yet to try Zaino. One of the reasons is, and i may be wrong here, but the time from beginning to end to use and apply the products to reach the desired effect. Please correct me if i am wrong in my assertion.
It's a WOWO type product, mixing ZFX only takes a few seconds. The real time involement is in the preparation of the paint surface, which is necessary whatever car care product you use I'm not going to hype this product but will say this, there is no comparison, either for durability or looks
Do they still recommend using a up/down application method for vertical panels and a front/back application for horizontal panels? I can't seem to find that on their website anymore...
This is the way I've always applied wax / sealants- Optimising light refraction; Apply product in ‘direction of airflow’ to vertical surfaces roof to floor and then left to right, on horizontal surfaces bumper to trunk and then left to right, over-lapping panels to ensure complete coverage. Then apply in direction of airflow, horizontal surfaces hood to trunk, vertical surfaces front to back. This application technique affects the paints optical properties by optimising light refraction and the reflectivity of the bodylines and contours of the vehicle. .
excellent article , as usual. Do you apply the wax after all is said and done with the last coat of z-cs? do you need to wait any time period before you apply the wax? After the wax is applied do you recommend to simply wash and wax from that point on , or go back and do the whole process again every few months?
