Hey whats up guys, for those of you that have used signature series II, what did you think of it? How did it stand up against some of your other favorite "looks" waxes?

Ill be using it on my car this coming spring when it gets nice, my car is metallic silver and I'm hoping it will make the paint pop.

It's very similar to DP Max Wax...

Easy on, easy off, noticeable difference with all colors, dont like it over a sealant, brings out orange peel, pops flakes.

hmmm that is what I have been using, was hoping for a little more from the SSII

I like the flake part, thats what most say about the wax, I dont like the orange peel thing so much:(

Tom recommended it to me, and it looks very nice on his metallic dark gray, but my silver is very light.

I hope to see a difference between the two, but I must say Max Wax is an excellent value for what you get, IMO.

I still haven't developed an eye for waxes, but in my experience, easy on easy off. I bought it when it was on sale for 20 bucks :).

the only thing I don't like about DP is it's lid. Pinnacle is better. SSII smells way better too, although DP scent is not bad at all compared to FK pink wax, or ClearKote carnauba moose wax.

joe before you try sig series 2 make sure you strip off all the sealants and previus waxes on your car. and start with a nice fresh surface for the best protection and shine

I agree, SSII is a very easy wax to use it really brings out the metal flakes on vehicles. It's a reasonable wax for the price....but nothing to drool over...well that's just my opinion :2cents:

Oh yes, the lid on the DP jar SUCKS! The SSII comes in 6 oz. vs. 8 oz. for DP. But the SSII container is much nicer and also has a little seal on it. Its easy to remove the wax from both containers.

Im interested how this compares to petes 53...I have 53, souveran paste, and VW Concours...

i dunno which of these would compare to SS2 or MaxWax...

    any comparison would be great!

Maybe Pete's to SS2... Some have said Pete's is between SS2 and SOuveran. It's all subjective though :p
