You thought you have seen bad paint jobs....

    Well, I think this one trumps them all, keep in mind the below pictures are "AFTER" pics.

    Sanding screw up courtesy of the bodyshop who did the respray in 2007

    The little specks of dust looking things aren't dust, they are paint contamination during paint (when they were spraying the color coat, prior to clear)

    0.1 mil is 2.54 microns every body, wow okay I believe it's the worst one I have seen yet

    I was very surprised at the reading as well, the entire car read anywhere from 0.1 mil to 1.1 mil.

    so it's pretty much unbuffable at that kinda reading.... sad.

    wow this is crazy. the owner never took it back to complain about their work being bs and having compensated?

    Well, I gave it a light once over with Scholl Concepts A15 AIO to bring back the shine/minor correction on the swirl marks, but nothing else was/could be done.

    Owner just has no clue "how bad" of a job it was until I pointed everything out to him, plus the repaint is over 4 years old, the bodyshop can easily find excuses to not fix it for him.
