Hey guys I been getting questions on what camera and lens I use, to be honest that's a wrong question to ask. Just like when someone asks a detailer, what product they use to get the results they got. I can tell you what I use and all, but your results will be different from mine. I truly believe everyone has their own style of doing things, that not everyone is the same. Whoever said all men are created equal is wrong J/K but what a person can create is up to their imagination. Creativity goes a long way with photography is what I'm trying to say. here are some examples of photos using some creativity. here I'm using the white wall we have in the shop to bounce light into the interior. Here I turned all the lights off inside the shop, Car key turned on to show some instrument cluster. Using the light from a window to create some lens flare n some light. Here I saw a small puddle of water, and use that water to create some reflection All these pictures can be taken with any camera with a lens just need some creativity! Sigma 10-20, customers will really open their eyes Photography is a lot to do with lighting, just make sure you have lots and you'll be fine. Oh and rule of thirds.
yes you can, I can get those photos with my T3i. I mean the quality may not be there. But you'll get the same effect. Thanks, I know its pretty expensive combo, maybe I should of used a cheaper camera or iphone for this very purpose. I love this Lens, at first I was like this is useless lens, since we also have the Canon EF-S 17-55 F 2.8 IS lens, Then I start zooming into the details, and I find the Sigma is that much sharper Thank you! Lighting is very important, its what makes the picture.
here is a iPhone picture.Its during a light snow and windy day, I was going for a fog effect and got it with my iPhone. The light was perfect, white snow on the ground to light the bottom of the car and the fog to light rest of the car. Point of this thread was to be creative with your photos, sorry if it misleading somehow to you.
