Hey guys I just got xpel ultimate installed. I was looking around the forums and saw someone recommend that you seal it right away. The installer didn't mention that I had to seal it at all? So...does it need sealed? I saw that xpel has a sealent on their website... I also have enough opti coat 2.0 that I could use that. Thank for any help!

it does not NEED to be sealed, no. But you CAN seal it to increase protection.

I have it on several cars and my suggestion is to seal it. I'd use OC if you can. The one on my dark car isn't sealed and it has a few etchings in it that stand out since its a dark color.

To use OC is there any prep work? I assume just an IPA wipe down.
