    BrendanS Welcome to Detailing

My friend referred his uncle who owns this and an A8L that I'll be doing tomorrow. As well as quite a few other vehicles. This 996 Turbo is one raspy sounding ride, but I'm not complaining:worship2:. This was booked in for everything but polishing. I may be polishing it later on. It got full interior, and wash and wax exterior, as well as wheel wells/engine bay detailed. Anyways here is what I used for the products:

    Wash:
    - 2 Bucket Method w/ Grit Guards
    - Proline Grout Sponge
    - Majestic Solutions Super Green Stuff
    - Dawn Dish Washing Soap
    - Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss

    Wheels/Tires:
    - Majestic Solutions Super Green Stuff
    - Raceglaze XL Wheel Brush
    - Meguiars Tire Brush
    - Old Sponge cut in half
    - Gloss-It Signature Tire Gloss

    Interior:
    - Majestic Solutions Leather & Plastic Cleaner
    - Lexol Leather Conditioner
    - Finish Kare 108 Dressing
    - Finish Kare 316 Fabric Sealant
    - Chemical Guys Window Cleaner
    - RagShack Window WW
    - Wal-Mart MFs
    - Autowerkes Exclusive MF Applicator Pads

    Engine Bay:
    - Majestic Solutions Super Green Stuff
    - Finish Kare 108 Dressing
    - Autowerkes Exclusive MF Applicator Pads

    Last Step Protection:
    - Bilt Hamber Autobalm
    - Black Fire Foam Applicator:worship2:
    - Rag Shack Super Fly Towel

    On to the pictures!:thud:

Before of the rims when they were dry, brake dust was caked on terribly, picture does no justice
    [IMG]
Raceglaze Wheel Brush from Ken, works amazingly! Don't even touch my Megs one, the RG one barely splatters...helps keep my legs "brake dust" free lol

Ken taught me this way of applying Autobalm. It works very well, lets you do a larger area without having the wax dry up on you.... you don't want Autobalm to dry. Here is how I do it, mist the area lightly with water
    [IMG]
Then apply, and wipe off...simple and effective
    [IMG]
Collinite 845 for the windows, love doing this...works like a charm
    [IMG]

    All done!

Seriously nice work! It is cool to see such a meticulous young guy working hard and getting results! The only thing I would point out (and I am in no way detracting from your work) is in the engine bay, make sure you get down around the air box where it goes below the latch on the rear wall. Other than that, it looks great!

Great job man!! You did that car right, sorry to see the owners let it go so bad.

The engine looked great! Better than new probably!

What was the total time you spent on it?

Please let us know if you get to polish it out!

Great job X!! The car looks incredible. I think you use as many Majestic Solutions products as I do! Bet you can't wait to get that rotary. Keep up the good work and you'll have more work than you can do.

SpecC I use it at 1:1.

Thanks JL! I'm waking up at 7:30 tomorrow morning to head out to Kens to try a couple rotaries out and bug him:applause2:
    Thanks!
    Thanks bud, appreciate it!
Thanks Carlos, I've always loved p-cars, but after doing this one I have a whole new respect for them
    Thanks bud!
Thanks! I'm just using a Canon SX110is on a tripod. For engine cleaning on this I just sprayed everything down with Majestic Solutions SGS, brushed it, then wiped off. I then sprayed some ONR on it and wiped it off, then sprayed Finish Kare 108 Dressing on an MF Applicator pad and wiped down the plastics and whatever else.
