I got the chance to do my full polishing package for the first time. It took quite a while longer than I expected and the results weren't the best. I would say I corrected about 80-85% of the defects. Regardless the car came out a lot better than when it came in. This detail was about 12-14 hours. I really wish that I documented this detail a lot better, but I couldn't get any after LSP day shots. I finished at 12am so we just went for an industrial "photoshoot". The picture didn't come out well either. Hopefully the next detail I do my pictures are a lot better and it's documented better. Overall this detail was great, but very long and exhausting. It made my decision to get a Flex 3403 and probably find a used PC7424 down the road. I would like to thank Ken @ Autowerkes Exclusive for helping me get set up and lending me his own PC7424 to try out. Anyways enough chit-chat, let me know what you think! Thanks for looking. Brendan
Black is very difficult, and if I remember, those clears are quite hard. Great job with what you had at your disposal, though! I have a black Dodge Magnum that's getting a single step next weekend. Hopefully it goes well!
Looks good Brendan, it is not always possible to get 100%. Price, severity of defects, safety, and time are all things that hinder 100%. With that said I might throw some hyperdressing on those wheel wells but other than that the detail looks awesome.
thanks! Good luck Yeah I didn't dress the wheel wells, I had to focus on getting the LSP on and wax off the trims.
Hi Brendan, You really did a great job. Some days are better than others and when your 100% turns out to be 85% you still did your best and thats the way it is sometimes. You still had a great write up and even a great detail. Hang in there...:thumb:
