Hey all, Been a long time since I posted any of my recent work- re-locating, new job, and now moving to another company means detailing remains to be done on the weekend. Up here is an extremely well taken care of XFR with a special history to it. The previous owner kept it in amazing condition out in the west and it is now taken care of meticulously by a good friend of mine. The aim of this project was to achieve a correctional level as close to 100% as possible and then apply a good layer of Opti 2.0 to aid with its future washes etc. Total time was just under 20 hours and most of the body came out perfect with Sonax PF/ Orange foam combo on my Rupes, Flex, and PC. *I did not have me SLR with me this weekend so during and after shots were taken by the client. Previous LSP was stripped Again, I didn't have my SLR however a phone was able to capture the defects pretty darn well! Lots of landscaping to do on this one Rear end dialed in nicely After a good, strong IPA wipedown Opti time- CarPro Foam block/ MF suede applicator used Much better clarity Overall, the clear was very easy to work with- much more so than some other new gen Jag colors- I really enjoyed working on this one! One of the many tasteful and well done mod's to this beast Great metallic flake in this one! Me in the background happy as always after all the hard work and concentration Later on that evening after some "enthusiastic" driving on some NC backroads- I gotta admit I've driven a lot of M Models= comparing this sedan to the 2 e60 M5's i've driven... I would pick the R 10/10. Note- NONE of the after photos were altered in any way- straight from the lens as always! Thanks for looking! Dan K.
Awesome locations for pictures Dan! I do like this Jag a lot, not something you see everyday. You really made the flakes pop on this one, I guess thats what 20 hr details get you
